At the top of this episode of Cycle World Radio, host Steve Natt discusses a couple of developments in the world of moto-politics, with particular focus on a bill in California that is now on the Governor's desk for signature or veto: SB-435. It's designed to curtail noisy aftermarket exhaust pipes, and Steve feels it's discriminatory against motorcyclists because it doesn't include regulations about cars or trucks (not that he's rooting for any such legislation). Then Team Cycle World/Attack Performance Crew Chief Richard Stanboli calls in and talks about his life in motorcycling, his multi-faceted business, his racing teams and how he does the very complicated and usually successful job he does. Ex-racer, Coach, mentor, engineer, mechanic, Chief Science Officer -- Richard kind of does it all. http://podcasting.cycleworld.com/2010/CW_090410.MP3

This week's show begins with Steve's suggestions about cool stuff you can find on CycleWorld.com, including his video about a recent party Yamaha threw for its pro roadracing teams at Jay Leno's garage. Then we meet Todd McNabney, owner and founder of Heroic Racing Apparel (suits, boots, gloves). Todd is the classic American entrepreneur, that "I got a better idea" guy, who is growing his company through ingenuity, grit, likeability ... and having products that roadracers and track day riders seem to really like. Listen is as we find out what ingredients are in his secret sauce (among them: stingray skin). http://podcasting.cycleworld.com/2010/CW_082110.MP3

Host Steve Natt gets the inside story on what really happened to the Buell Motorcycle Company from former Employee/Engineer/Platform Director Steve Anderson. We also learn about Anderson's fascinating career -- from rocket scientist (literally - with cruise missiles!) to moto-journalist, to Buell in-house engineer, and back to moto-journalist (he is now a contributing editor to Cycle World Magazine). http://podcasting.cycleworld.com/2010/CW_071010.MP3
