“These are uncertain times.”  Nowadays, we hear that so much, it’s become a mantra.  

Author/Speaker and Management Sales Trainer, Steve Siebold said something during last week’s show that was very insightful.

He said, “consciousness is contagious.”  It’s infectious.

And, he’s right.  We adapt to our environment.  Hang around people who thrive on bad news and the next thing you know you’ve caught bad news.  

Get together with a more positive crowd and the next thing you know you’re feeling better and prospects seem brighter.

I call it the Showtime Solution.  I’m not referring to the Entertainment business.  I’m talking about Show Business; in the sense that today you’ve got to Show you mean Business.

Hey, these are uncertain times.  We’re all looking for a break and most of us are on “overload”, not knowing if we’re coming or going.    

We are in a sort of “Achievement Hibernation.”  It’s not giving up.  It’s a time to catch a breath and get our bearings straight.

We accomplish this by giving ourselves a break, by showing ourselves some gratitude.  

Be grateful for what you have right here and right now and don’t dwell on what you don’t have.   

There’s an old expression, “enjoy the moment.”  Let’s face it, that’s all we have.  
We have no control of the past.  It’s past.  
And, if all you’re doing is looking back on what was or could have been, you’re destroying the moment, the here and now.
It’s like driving a car while looking only through the rear view mirror.  The next thing you know, you’ve lost that here and now, the present moment and, you’re on a collision course with the future.  
It’s been said that the past predicts the future.  To some extent, that’s right.
However, the present moment has more power and influence on the future.  The here and now are the building blocks to  successful outcomes in the future.  
Yes, these are uncertain times.  So make things a bit more certain and more positive.
