Martha ascribes to the principles of liberty and limited government. Strong property rights are fundamental for an individual’s liberty, social and financial stability and security. It’s wrong that our government can take our property, and then turn it over to a private developer or individual. That’s stealing. Education is the gateway to knowledge, wisdom and freedom. We need competitive and accountable education enterprise; not the ossified monopoly of the public school establishment we endure today. Energy policy shouldn't kill our economy and wipe out opportunity and savings of small business owners, the middle class and the poor. Energy policy shouldn't bury our vast wealth of natural energy resources. Bio fuels use almost as much energy to produce as what they deliver and raise food prices in the process. She opposes the growing size of government and their arrogant, wasteful, petulant taking and spending of our hard earned income and opportunity. She says no to more taxes, and fees and wasteful bonds that further indenture us, and secure government agents’ personal benefits and interests, and those of their well connected friends.

She firmly believes that after responsible and loving parenting, education is the first rung of the ladder out of poverty, choice in education empowers parents and empowered parents can more effectively advocate for their children. Her focus also includes entrepreneurship, small business and health care related policy issues.

Martha is committed to empowering and advancing the strength and vitality of the emerging Mexican American middle class and business community and firmly believes the middle class is a fundamental cornerstone for a democracy to thrive and for people to live free.

  • Sat 7-24-10 Jack Dean joins me to talk about the explosive story that could be the match to ignite a voter's revolt against the Public Employee Unions and How Race Trumped jobs at the Obama Adminsitration's commands over GM

My Guest: Jack Dean of Pension Tsunami, on the story about the 0,000.00 annual salary for the City Manager of the City of Bell, CA. Could this be the story that breaks the public employee compensation and pension abuse of the public trust and budgets? Will it be the match that lights a fire under the taxpayers, to cause a productive and revolutionary revolt?
If Bell City Manager retires now, he stands to reap over million dollars in retirement funds. He's not the only one with outrageous pensions. He's just the worst case by far, but we'll look at the more common, and yet still, very unjust overcompensation awarded to various officials and ex-officials, all on the dime of the taxpayer, who is on the hook to pay, no matter what.

Race Played Role in Obama Car Dealer Closures

    By William Tate

The Obama administration, already under fire for unprecedented allegations of racial bias, faces a new bias claim from a most unlikely source: one of the administration's own inspectors general.

Decisions on which car dealerships to close as part of the auto industry bailout -- closures the Obama administration forced on General Motors and Chrysler -- were based in part on race and gender, according to a report by Troubled Asset Relief Program Special Inspector General Neal M. Barofsky.

[D]ealerships were retained because they were recently appointed, were key wholesale parts dealers, or were minority- or woman-owned dealerships. [Emphasis added.]

Thus, to meet numbers forced on them by the Obama administration, General Motors and Chrysler were forced to shutter other, potentially more viable, dealerships. The livelihood of potentially tens of thousands of families was thus eliminated simply because their dealerships were not minority- or woman-owned.

As has been widely reported, the Inspector General's study skewered the Obama Gang for strong-arming the companies into closing 2,000 dealerships, costing an estimated 100,000 people their jobs during a recession.

But the news media has ignored key elements of Barofsky's report -- elements that are far more damaging, if possible, to Obama
