Warren Eckstein

Known as the “Dr. Phil for Pets” for his “Hugs and Kisses” approach to animal behavior, care and training, Warren Eckstein has spent the past thirty years teaching pets and people to live happily together. Warren has worked with over 40,000 pets including those of many well know celebrities including David Letterman, Al Pacino and Lily Tomlin.  He has been a contributing Pet and Animal Editor for NBC’s Today Show for nearly a decade and was the regular pet expert on “Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee.”  He is also seen weekly on The Discovery Channel and makes regular appearances as the Creature Keeper on the Disney Channel’s “New Mickey Mouse Club.”
In memory of his wife Fay, Eckstein founded the Hugs & Kisses Animal Fund, an organization whose mission is to fund hundreds of small animal organizations across the United States and to be a resource where other help is unavailable.  He is also a ten year member of the Board of Directors for the Bide-A-Wee Home Association, the nation’s oldest no-kill charitable humane organization.  Eckstein is the author of many books including Pet Aerobics and Memoirs of a Pet Therapist:  A Tail All Book.
